it takes two
[/s] Pure silence set about the land, the silence of the dead of night. The stars shone brightly in the ebon sky, shimmering and dancing around the great moon. The silver orb was full tonight, not a single portion hidden by shadow. The dim light of the moon revealed its face, its crater eyes and mouth, its pale yellow skin. It was grinning, staring down at the earth, watching as the femora made her way across the land. The hollow pools of the fae ventured to the sky, staring up at the moon’s features. So many souls ventured to the sky, so many made it past the delicate atmosphere of this planet and into the many miles of space and time. But not tonight, for tonight was a night of a purpose. Tiara turned back to the path before her body, which was slowly being scaled as she continued to amble toward her destination, which wasn't known even to her yet. But surely she would have a real destination, in due time. Her timid footsteps churned the gravel beneath her, bodice dancing to a song sung by the earth and wind. The femora was of the richest gray, speckled in lighter hues and darker shades. A tassle of pure black ran behind her, nicking the fingers of the brush as they reached out onto the trail. But with a simple step she was free, and the fauna broken as their twigs fell to the ground. Her harks were erect on her crown, which followed a delicate spine along her thin back. Withers rose and set with each step, in perfect rhythm with her breathing, in perfect harmony with the earth. The wind rushed by her, sending the trees’ leaves into a panic, the thin, green fauna vibrating like small bells in the night. The bells continued to ring, becoming stronger until they reached their highest crescendo, before they settled and the wind was nothing more than a mere breeze. Gaze was locked on the shaded forest, eyes darting every which way to catch the slightest movement. There was a group of creatures who took the night to lay their heads to sleep, and another group of which used it to hunt their prey. But tonight, surprisingly, not many had ventured out. Perhaps it was the heavy fog that was setting over the terra, or the ghastly breezes that every so often swept over the woods. Maybe even it was the sense of fright that loomed the air so heavily. Whatever the reason, it certainly was not a night for anyone of the light hearted to venture out into. And, to the femora who danced about the earth, this was nothing. The only things she observed were the soft beating of her hooves against the ground, and the rubbing of her skin against her bones as she trotted. The bodice finally halted, stopping completely and shattering the silence as she skidded to a halt. The wind, which she was no longer running with, stung her hide as it pushed her, enticing her to move further. But no, she had found her destination. A simple clearing in the forest, surrounded by towering trees with dark bark, so high even one could not see their tops past the thick fog. The chilling silence even sent shivers up her spine, a rare but thrilling fear that she was not in the least afraid to embrace. An eerie smile spread across her lips, spilling her emotions. With a jerk of her nape, she sent her mane flinging back behind her crown, clearing it from her face. But it only fell back into place, right down the center of her face. It bothered her so, but was a feature that she loved. It was only a matter of time until her dance could begin, all she needed now was a partner. But who would be so daring as to venture out here? Only somebody daring enough to tango with Encala would venture out here. There were not many who had that strong a soul, but she knew there was somebody. And so, the Andalusian mare waited, knowing that shortly, she could begin to tango. shall we?

Moons optics searched the claiming area as he looked for a fae to claim. He stopped his search when his optics landed on a grey fae as she galloped towards a cluster of trees as the fog rolled in.He watched her steps as she walked in perfect rythm. He tortted towards the fae with his mane and tail flowing because of the breeze. He watched the fae toss her head and smiled only slightly. When the stag reached the cluster of trees he stopped to let his optics look over her before he spoke."I am Moons Vision and who might you be?"he asked with a firm tone to show this fae he was not a weakling light stag but a proud drag stag.As he looked at the fae before him he saw that not many would want to mess with this mare but brushed it the feeling off.

Her pools remained still, their sort of hollow emptiness staring into the nothingness of night. Onyx harks swiveled atop her crown, as the silence was again broken. Her nape lifted, bringing her face to the sky, sending the chilling air over her skin and cooling her plume. Her eyes seemed to light up with life, bringing them back from their deadened state as they met the source for the noise. She watched his every movement, as if she could guess his actions. She was like the eager watcher of a puppet show, awaiting each flick of an eyelid, each movement of a finger, the moment before it began. Why, she had such a sense of knowing, one could come to think that if their own nose quivered, she would sneeze. It frightened many, the fearful.
Her ebon optics scanned over him, impressed really at the sight. A brown pelt, a good build; a strong stallion. He didn’t seem to fear the forest either, a sign of bravery and strength. But she could always sense fear in people, even in him. It was present in her; it could be found everywhere. Her wicked smile stretched even further, and with each passing moment the fog became thicker with the forest’s exhaust. It smothered her lungs, making it harder to breath. Then his words drained the air of its silence, strong and loud. She was slightly disgruntled by it, finding it new to her. How long had it been since she heard the voice of another? Too long for such a social being as herself. Finally, her partner had arrived, but did he know the song of which to dance to?
In a show of rare respect, her tiara lowered. Her locks fell before her eyes once more, and her vision was dark. The light of the moon that managed to seep through the heavy blanket of fog radiated off her plume. It was angled just so to make her appear heavenly, like an angel of sorts. But it was only a cover, a mask of sorts. She was no angel, but a devil with wings. With that, she rose her crown once more, her bangs parting on either side of her pale face. Her delicate plume was pushed by the wind, twined around her hind legs like ivy growing up a tree. Such a sense of power before her, and she didn’t have to even know his ranking. Moonsvision, a name she would come to remember. Her mind soaked the knowledge, putting it to memory, engraving it to her soul. And finally, after the waiting, she was ready for a reply. But was he? Let’s just see how long he could go, and how much Encala actually liked him.
“My dubbance? You wish to know my name?” Her vocals erupted, her voice syrupy and melodic. “A thing as precious to me as my name isn’t handed out to just anybody.” A name was one’s entire profile in just one word, a dangerous piece of information. Why, if one knew your name, they could find out anything about you. But she wasn’t one to be picky; she only liked toying with the minds of the stallions who tried to swoon her with their looks and charm. She toyed with them like toy soldiers, until they broke. “But, since you were so kind as to present your own dubbance first, I guess it would be safe to trust you. My name is Encala, and it is a pleasure to be in your presence, Lord Moonsvision.” Her words were like sap, slowly dripping through the thick forest, words strong enough when they were so soft. She stared at him with her soft gaze, her empty eyes completely void of all emotion. How would he reply?
Do you dare?

Moon watched Encala lower her tiara in respect and knew she probaly rarely did that to most she had met.He listened to Encala speak and knew right away she would catch him off guard and use something he said to her advantage and play around with it.He respected that in her for most of the faes he had met were the exact oppisite of that, they would hear what you had to say but only to lock it away in their minds and never think about it again. He lowered his dial slightly as he looked at her eyes to see that they were void of all emotion and decided against making a comment on her name and how it sounded wonderful to his ears.
"What are you doing out here by yourself Lady Encala?"he asked firmly but with respect in his voice as the fog kept rising making it slightly harder to breath. Before giving her a chance to reply he spoke quickly."Not that I think that you wouldn`t be able to defend yourself if you ran into any trouble out here. For I have no doubt you could defend yourself very well if needed."he looked at her and saw that he spoke the truth.

She was indeed extremely curious as to how he would reply. By now, or at least now since she replied in such a manor, he knew how she was with new stallions. She often took their words and twisted them, just to see how far they could go until they broke. How far could Moonsvision go? Was he a worthy stallion? He could reply a number of ways, all of which would change her opinion about him. He could answer in a way that was meant to make her impressed, which would only make her amused. He could answer with an insult, if he was angry with her words. Or, he might be fortunate enough to answer the way not many did. He could impress her, but that was not likely. Dapple gray receivers flicked forward to catch his mighty words, a soft smile gracing her lips at his words. Why was she alone? Wasn’t it obvious? These grounds were for claiming, and unless a mare was not sane, they came here to be claimed by a stallion.
But then, Moonsvision managed to save himself. He added more, which appeased her quite well. He was smart enough to make a compliment about her, one that wasn’t cheesy, or that stated how beautiful she was. She heard plenty of those before, too many times for her taste. Her haunches tilted as she rested her weight on her right leg, finding a comfy spot to stand for the time being. Hopefully, she would be able to accompany somebody tonight to their home, and would be able to leave this place. True, it did match her personality, but she wanted a place she could call home. She returned her attention to the bay brute before her, ready to speak, finding that she let his words simmer in the air long enough.
“I’m waiting for a stallion to arrive, and take me to his home.” She said with the slightest hint of happiness to her tone. “And I must say, I’m happy that I managed to run into you. I believe that our meeting here was, how you say, inevitable. It was meant to happen…” She spoke quietly, her voice almost nothing but a mere whisper that was drowned out by the wind. The breeze lifted the fog for a moment, before it dimmed down, and the heavy blanket was cast down upon the two equine once again. She wouldn’t mind leaving this place with him. He seemed strong, and appeared to have a good build, from what she could see beyond the haze. He was kind, and cunning. Alliance? It was obvious, when you knew your own alliance you could often identify the faction of others. She was curious about what kind of place he would live in, but she knew it was somewhere within the Alliance boundaries.
The Alliance, she had heard some things about it, but not all. She knew about the dark souled horses who resided there, and about the lands which were intoxicated by screaming faes and imprisoned lights. That, and she had also heard the rumor about the grand leader of them all, a dark souled brute by the name of Ishtar. She couldn’t help but wonder whether or not he was real, or a myth to make the faction sound more powerful. None the less, she was excited to know. She knew that they were better than the Herd members. Those equine were too weak, and didn’t have any power. Or, at least, that was how she saw them. She gently shook her head, returning her soft gaze to the Lord before her. She would greatly anticipate his reply, especially now that she was confident in his abilites.
you speak, unlike all the others

He nodded his head as he listend to her speak. He strained his ears to hear the last part that she had to say and nodded his head in agreement."Then you would be willing to go to my home with me?"he saked firnly after a moment of letting his words hang in the air feeling as though he knew what she was thinking he spoke firmly."The truth is that us draqs exhibit, in an exaggerated form, many of the worst characteristics of lights. We are greedy, envious, spiteful, malicious, slothful, superstitious, and stupid. We are congenital hysterics and each one is, ominously, a prospective homicide. If lights could talk to us draqs, they would lie."He looked at her with out letting one emotion in his eyes as he finished and after a second of letting his words sink in he smirked slightly as he awaited her reply.
