.Is This Really The End Of A Nightmare.
Well, this was it, the claiming grounds. The place where fate divided the each fae into a grouping, or so everyone thought. Did fate ever miss one equus? Or did one equus miss fate? No one knew, but it was quite obvious who had been blessed and who had been cursed. The blessed, were seemingly perfect, or at least, they had no visible flaws. They were beautiful, proud, out spoken and everything any equine would ever dream, or wish for. The cursed only believed that beauty was on the inside, the cursed had many visible flaws, and right now, she was obviously not thinking about alliances, no, fae was thinking about mainly herself. Caballo was obviously not blessed, for every quality seemed to turn into a flaw each time an equine was near. Oh, how she envied the arabic bloodlines, for look at their arabic crowns, and then gaze at her flat, straight dial. It held no elegance, nor pride. Yet, it was too late to turn back on her history, for it was already done. All she could do was gaze helplessly at it, hoping something good would bless her.
A emerald meadow stretched before the fae, eventually, the clearing met the deep azure atmosphere, that stretched overhead, acting as a dome. Stalks swayed in the light zephyr that passed through the lands. Carefully caressing her bodice, while her cream plumage nipped eagerly at her hocks. Foliage hardly inhabited this landscape. Very few dotted the land before her, but when they did appear, all any equine could do was gaze. Rough, russet stumps lifted to the mighty branches the clung to there life supply. Majestic they were, even superior over other creatures. Once again, beauty had blessed this place, yet beauty always seems to come and add sceneries.
Flat, golden dial lowered, as her hazel spheres gazed the scenery once more. Auditories lifted from a relaxed mode, to alertness, as they swiveled forth only to listen to the silence that surrounded her. Nares widened as the unfamiliar aromas filled her lungs, before they were gone. Short boa was almost fully covered from her long cream tresses, while her forelock hardly covered any space at all. No arch could be found on her curvature, only pity. Deep chest sank into her short and boxy appendages. Upper limbs were quite muscular, while lower limbs were striped of their pride. Barrel was short and round, which went along with her slender dorsal. Huge quarters, lowered into her banner that swayed in the morning breeze. This was it, all the terror, everything was put to the test. Would any equus appear, or was rejection another option once more?
.Or Am I Back At The Beginning, Again.

.When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary. .When troubles come and my heart burdened be.
Drumming, drumming, flints on sod. Drumming, drumming, the soul encaged. Such the rhythm moved and sounded as the daggs were pounded again and again. The tracings led to the far hill where a persuer rose and fell with the sloping lands. A moment was then dimmed as the sound stopped and silence fell. But the presence of the other was not lost.
Pecking his way around the hill, a steed moved on. Patterned pelt rowed with eclipse splotches and pools of shades shimmered in the sun. The day was well and the stag moved onward, picking his footing til to the top of the hill he came. His gaze was firm as the breeze played with his tresses. Nares flared a moment, tasting the cool winds as lanterns broke across the vale. Was there another within the terrain this day? Soon he would see.
No he was not much for the 'claiming grounds', he actually kept company to himself, but lately his terra had the feeling of a desolate place. He remained as long as he could before he could stand the silence no longer. Loneliness was never good for the heart so capable of more and that was where he stood.
Suddenly a spark caught his gaze as he stared down the slope again. A form came into view at last, a femme. The sun flew over her bod and she seemed to be aglow for a moment as he took her in. Her disposition, the way she carried herself, was one of sadness. Low boa and dial, but alert auds she held. He took only a moment more to blink before making a swift decent of the hill.
On level grounds once more, he slowed his pacers and let his harks perk in her direction as his serpentine arched upward. He paused a short distance from her, not wishing to startle her. His liprims parted as he gave a low nicker in greeting to her before beginning his song.
It's quite a day to be wasted here alone, he sang gently. My name is Crucifix, may I be so honored as to know your own?
.Then, I am still and wait here in the silence. .Until you come and sit awhile with me.

.I Can't Do This, I Really Can't.
Mocha lamps glanced upward, expecting something ordinary, someones ordinary. Okay, maybe she was slightly wrong, but not completely. She would give herself at least some credit. Anyway, something made her shyness even worse than it already was. Maybe it was because she was in the presence of another, trying to recite each simple lyric of her greeting as easily as she had without the presence of another. Impossible. How stupid had she ever been to think that a little bit of a change in environment would change how comfortable she felt around another equus? Extremely. I should probably listen to my heart, right? Wrong. Even her heart seemed to beating as faintly as possible against the chambers that held in all its power.
Could this moment get anymore awkward? Unfortunatly, yes, it could. Brawny bunched, as tension found its way through. Once more, tension had aroused within her, making lyrics impossible to form, even thoughts were hardly able to filter through her dial without muddling up themselves. What did the femme expect? A miracle? This was typical for every meeting, all her well practised sentences and greetings would disappear within the blind of an optic, leaving her unprepared for what came ahead. The song from before clung to the outskirts of her auditories, unable to travel through, already knowing that the chances of them being intercepted was quite high. This was pointless, not this meeting, but this shyness, this personality. All it brought at the end of the day was loneliness and agony, the agony of knowing that this is how her life would end. Once a loner, always a loner.
No! Came her only clear thoughts, That's not how its going to be, my life isn't planned out that way. She continued to fight the nagging emotion that she was wrong all along, always wrong. Finding the wrong place, the wrong emotion, the wrong equine, and the wrong personality. This was it, all thoughs years of loneliness washed away. Spheres filled with raw determination, while her now proud crown lifted. Finally, librums brushed apart, vocals started to work, busily planning the harmonics that would barrel through the atmosphere. On a mission, rather than gazing at the sights that surrounded the couple. Too bad, no matter the determination, she always had to stutter and stammer, trying to find the right word.
Y-Ya, I guess. She stuttered, quite unsure of the impression she was giving off. Tis n-nice to meet you Crucifix, I-I am dubbed Caballo.
.Okay, I Lied, I Actually Can.

.No matter what you do, no matter how much you cry.
Nares quenched once again the aire about the stag as the new femora withspelled songs all her own. His dial, and elegant dish, was a contrast to the rest of him. He seemed to carry a dosage of each bloodline about him for he knew not where his true blood lay. A mix of many he was, and proud to be. Beauty lay not in looks, he himself was lucky with his clever imprinted bod, but it was not what made him smile each day. There was more to life than vanity and he held that at heart.
Daggs shifted a moment as pools ran about the enlightened femora once more. In an instant her mood seemed changed. Her tiara raised to him and songs met. She seemed the gentle type, shy but there was always an inner courage that most equines tended to over look about themselves. For he himself once doubted his heart, and never again would he.
Once finished he smiled to her and took a few more even paces forward. As long as she was at ease with him, he found it much easier to converse when two equines aren't so distant. Pausing near her, the winds rustled again and blew the scent of the fatalis in his direction. He captured it and held it to memory. Caballo. Spanish he believed it was for horse, as was Caballa. His smile never left his liprims as he placed a foredagg forward and let serpentine lower in an even bow.
It's a pleasure to meet you, lady Caballo. Crucifix replied smoothly. Straightening upward once more, he took a moment to take in the scenery. How long have lived within these lands?
There was something about the femora that harkened his interest. Perhaps it was something of his colthood... but he couldn't hasten the thought any further. Whipcord daced at his hingquarters as he watched the femme for any further movement or song. Was she as alone as he was? From what he witnessed earlier... maybe. There was still so much to learn, but he hoped it could be the start of something new.
.Always know you're a part of my sky.

.You Took My Hand. You Showed Me How.
I believe I've been here for two, maybe three nights. Came her soft lyrics, she spoke once more. What has made you come by me, rather than any other eligible fae's?
Suddenly she felt so much more confident and comfortable. It was such a miracle. Okay, well not really. So what she could talk just slightly openly to one equus, but to another, or several strangers, now that was impossible. Then again, maybe she could speak to him because interest had aroused within her. I know that face, I know that smile... came her unsure thoughts. Yet, she couldn't grasp the truth, she couldn't grasp that one moment, or many moments. yet, if her memory of Crucifix was that vague, than he was obviously not that important to her past, if he was apart of it.
A small smile met her velvets, but it was only there for a second. Maybe embarrassment whipped it off, maybe not. Luckily, there seemed to be a petite spark within her, that she herself was not able to light. Even her personality faltered, if it was even her's. Maybe it was just mask that she had made to protect herself from criticism, maybe not. Answers come with time, if you are patient, which is hardly the case. Often times equines choose to cheat to find the truth, to find that it isn't even written yet. The only thing anyone can do is wait for the outcome, rather than rush it.
It was odd. Femme felt as though Crucifix had been a friend for so long. A friend that had shared all her hardships with. Yet, that was impossible, she had never had that kind of relationship, seeing as she admired from afar, unable to take the pain of rejection. It felt odd to be acting as a stranger to him, rather than a friendly equus that had been known for so long, even since birth. Once again, that was impossible, seeing as she was born into a harem with only a certain bloodlines. Well, except for the outcast sire and dam that were a little bit of every bloodline. Well, now that, that issue was sorted out within her, she could move on and hope for the best at the end of this conversation.
.You Promised Me You'd Be Around. .That's Right.

.And if time should turn and leave me to die.
Daggs lifted and replaced for a moment. He was nervous? That was a first. He couldn't even recall a time when he was this antsy except when he was young. He laughed inside of himself for his ridiculous behavior... this was after all just a femme, wasn't she? His harks perked at her songs as he considered them and tilted his dial a moment.
Such contrast he suddenly realized in the femme, from stutter to smooth song. He smiled at ease seeing that he must have gotten to her and she was relaxed with him around. Tossing his serpentine, colored tresses touching the aire for a moment and fell back in ease. The butterflies within his own stomach still churned but there was a sense of comfort about the fae of sunlight that made the scene all the more tranquil.
It is not good for one to be so alone. Crucifix replied in smooth tones. His songs was gentle yet firm as he was by nature. Do you believe this to be true? For that is why I come here before myself.
I was seeking company and I have found it. he thought. And strangely, it feels like dejavu... as if this all happened in a dream long ago that I couldn't remember til this day. He felt strange thinking so yet he couldn't help believing it. Somehow she was so familiar, but he was sure their paths had never crossed before. Perhaps it was the easing friendship that made the moment so real and so serene... maybe it was something else, but he kept silent in maw and mind as he awaited the fatalis to resound once more.
He pulled his appendages again from the sod and drew closer again to her, trying to pull his eyes off of her form to watch the scenery. Yet he couldn't help his gaze drifting back to her each time he gazed at the distant sun or the glistening mountain. Somewhere within there, the Alpha reigned, Sun Chaser. And below here they stood. There was more to this land that met the eye... just as there was more to the equine that the pool gazed. There was spirit and heart... spirit and heart he was beginning to see in the new-met Caballo and more perhaps he would see if trust continued and she opened up more to him. It all led him to wonder though if this was what he saw of her, what did she see of him?
.Know it's in your heart I'll always lie.

.I Took Your Words. .And I Believed In Everything You Said To Me.
Pistons came from under her. There was an unknown force to move closer, even though closer would bring discomfort. Yet, who cared? She didn't. This was her one chance to get close to an equus, and at that, one that she wasn't shy around. Well, you wouldn't call it shy, it's more like nervous. Well, there similar emotions, except one is natural, the other one seems like something that is permimently implanted in ones personality. She drew closer, her clumsy petite strides nearly tripped her more than once. That was nothing to fret about. Or was it? Oh well, it's done and over.
Movements finally came to an end. Well, at least the obvious movements did. Nares seemed to be more visibly inhaling and exhaling. This was odd, going from shy, to comfortable, to nervous. Was this natural? Oh, who cared about whether it was natural or not? All she wanted to do was grasp onto the instant friendship that was blooming between the two, for it was the closest she had ever felt to an equine before. Usually if she liked an equus she admired from afar, never getting into close contact. Yet, now that she was, she might as well close her optics and take the plung. Librums parted, as comfortable lyrics passed through them.
Well, I guess. Came her opinion, but she wasn't finished. I wouldn't know the difference between loneliness and company, seeing as I have been alone for so long.
She was finished. Well, I guess she isn't that important. Seeing as she hardly knows of any equus. Caballo can hardly recall whether there was a leader of this realm or not. Wait, how could she been so mindless? Obviously there was! If there wasn't she would probably be the only equine here, which she wouldn't mind at all. The only friend she would ever miss would be Crucifix, seeing as he is the first to ever be kind and welcoming, rather than critical and furious. Then again, this was the nature of a herd equus. Oh, how grateful she was to be of that siding, rather than of the alliance members. Rejection and critisim would be dayly, and that would only be the beginning of punishment for her personality and lack of sharing. How lucky she was to be here today, with at least one caring equine out there, and at the moment before her.

.Cast your eyes to the ocean, cast your soul to the sea.
Entrusting to the nature that was in full bloom about him, Crucifix took in a breath and let it all rest. There was a sense about the area that seemed to cradle the inner fire and made him want to place the best dagg forward and seek more. No longer was he in the company of his own shadow, but a fatale who was interested in further speech so it seemed. At least she hadn't scoffed at him yet and strolled away; he hated femmes like that. Stuck up and proud... their thoughts only of themselves and not of what's important. She was different.
He listened to her content song for a moment, pools swimming over her complexion again and again. She came closer. Alas the trust was forged. He relaxed his boa as it curved outward listening to her sing. Such grace she held when she was in a zone of comfort and unafraid... he hoped she knew that within. Skye glazed pools broke from her a moment as he stared to the blades beneath his stance. For staring was rude and he certainly didn't wish to be an upset to his new friend.
He saw an opportunity then as she finished her song and decided to take fate's chance. Turning his crown up to her again, pools peering into the glimpses of her own. His maw parted to sing again for her of perhaps a new beginning for the two.
Would you like to know the difference? he asked as his pools shone with his smile. His banner gave a wave in the breeze and his tressles tickled the breeze as his harks were bent solely in towards Caballo. He could think of a million responses and criticisms that could be made at the moment, but his auds were in list for only one.
.When the dark nights seem endless, please remember me.

.Don't Let Nobody Tell You .Your Life Is Over.
Was this an invitation? Excitement rushed through her. Who Knew? Maybe this was her lucky day. Well, no, not maybe, it was definitely was. Had she finally found the friend that wanted more than just beauty, more than just perfection. Well, in the perfection case, it would be less than perfection. How grateful Caballo was to come here, so grateful the crystallines of joy nearly split. Yet, she caught them just before the rush. This land, the peak that lifted into the dome, it was her home. Well, if what Crucifix was asking was what she thought.
The truth was, she didn't really know if he was going to ask her to accompany him, but who really cared? Crucifix wasn't the only one that deserved to take chances. The soft zephyr took it's toll again. Sweeping through the land, tangling her once flat banner and plumage. Carefully caressing each curve of her bodice, or maybe it was just putting on a show, to see how graceful it can make a creature seem. She knew not. Bliss surrounded her, all discomfort had been placed father away. Her comfort zone seemed to expand, not very much, but at least it was expanding rather than contracting.
Golden crown stayed in a comfortable position, while she contemplated the perfect response. Not to casual, but not to fancy. What was she thinking? Would he really cared if she turned reakless and casual, which was hardly her. Caballo, to put it nicely, well the thing is you can't. She is a real coward. Ok, so taking a chance was a little reakless, but that's the only type of chance that the femme is willing to take. Hazel spheres gazed toward the multi-coloured steed. Yes, Crucifix was worth it. A shy smile appeared upon her maw, as she once more became nervous. Casual harmonics entered the atmosphere, it was over and done with, she couldn't take back what she said. Then again, why would she want to?
Yeah, I would like to know the difference.

.Look to me now and you will see.
Brimming to hold down his spirit from completely leaping in flight, Crucifix planted his daggs into the earthen terra. Oh if only fate had granted him wings he would be flying right now. It was like your first homecoming dance, nervous as to how your date will act and what to say and do. Then your first dance comes when you hit the floor and everything glides into motion like a written fairy tale.
He wished just to pinch himself just to be sure this wasn't a complete work of his imagination. But it wasn't. Below him a gnat bit at his hide and he flitched to quickly snag it off. No. The moment was real. She was still there, and she had caught on to his song. He suddenly realized he was trembling, but not with fear, but by the work of another motion whose name was printed into his mind.
Bringing himself together, he tried to calm his nerves though it seemed impossible. Perhaps she felt the same as he did. He glanced into her orbs a moment and saw the spark there... but there was more than that even. There was promise and the liquid threatening to spill. His heart soared seeing the compassion at once that she held.
Gently, yet cautiously, he reached his maw out towards her own. It took only a moment, but he touched her lightly. His nares flared taking in her gentle scent as he nuzzled her. Pulling away lightly, he kept his gaze focused on her and her alone.
Would you care to reside in Noble's Cliff with me? he whispered.
.My heart is the door, you love the key.

.I Find I Get Lost For Words Around You. .Overwelmed By Your Presence.
Speechless. She was so speechless. That was the only lyric that managed to travel throug her quivering figure. This was happening, he had asked her. This wasn't a dream, it was for real. Crucifix was here before her, not before any other minx, but her. Finally, pulling herself together, she was finally able to function without stalling for a second just to figure out if this was real, which it was. He touched me. came her faint thoughts, He wants me to join him. It was truly amazing how certain equines can react to the actions of others. Yet, this wasn't that surprising. Caballo had it coming. She deserved a home, a mate everything that any ordinary fae would. Well, she deserved it, not in a bad way.
Should she return the favor, or just keep to herself? Should she let everything out, or should it come out in time? All these questions swarmed her thoughts. Affection floated through her heart, wishing to show the truth within her spheres, but what if that was too much for Crucifix? What if he didn't feel the same? Awkwardness drifted toward her and now, the only desire was for her to answer with the truest of all answers.
Suddenly, maw stretched toward the steed before her. It only took a few moments before contact came. An unexpected shiver shot through her dorsal. How she wanted the moment to last, how she wanted to feel this forever. Yet, there always came a time when even the most loving moments must end. Pulling away, femme already knew her answer. There was no way she could do otherwise, she would never, could never, forgive herself. Velvets slipped apart, as the usual lyrics emitted. Yet, they held so much meaning, so much more than even Caballo expected. Yeah, they were short, but the message came straight from the heart.
Yes, I wouldn't want to reside anywhere else. I wouldn't want to reside with anyone else.

.I’ve never known a love like yours. .Nor thought it could be true.
His heart stammered a moment as he tried to grasp the concept... or perhaps the concept was grasped, the execution was just a little slow. Either way, he felt the moment pressing in on him. All the nerves that he had built up to this point suddenly seemed to explode within himself and he was left vunerable to the feeling. In the next moment, Caballo reached out to him and he held his breath. Her velvetine touched him and he was paralyzed by the effect.
Realizing the situation of the moment, Crucifix tried to shake off the effect, but it held him strong. It was as if he was lightheaded and spinninl, yet trying to remain still despite the rush he felt as he stood still with this femme. His bod swayed a moment as he felt life returning to his pillars. Catching his balance again, he let his gaze lock into her own, searching for the emotion, the que that she felt the same as he did, but it had to be true.
He wanted to scream aloud, to dance, to sing... but he maintained himself from losing it. He had just found something greater than fate could create and he would not release it ever. Taking down a breath again, the cooling effect restrengthening his deprived bod. Despite all the commotion he wished to show, all he could muster was a simple smile as his pools shone bright as the north star. Slowly, he stepped closer to the sun prized femora and brushed against her blade with all the gentle affection he held. Pulling his crown closer to her aud, boa to boa with her, he whispered into her audit.
As you wish.
He turned slowly and pulled away from the warmth of her bod, much as he wished he could remain that close, til he was in face of where Noble's Cliff lay. Somewhere beyond the hills where he came, about Mountain Miracle. Turning to stare behind him, he perked his auds back to Caballo, smiling warmly to her as he waited.
He prayed in the back of his mind that he had not pushed the steps to far forward and had frightened her. If their hearts beat the same, which he was sure they did, then all would prove to be in the eyes of the deities above and only fate would be granted to shatter him from her. And even in that sight, he would not stir a moment past where his loyalties lay to his heart.
.But every time I kiss your lips. .I feel what love can do.

.When You Leave I'm Begging You Not To Go. .Call Your Name About Three Times In A Row.
The emotion frightened her. Not in a bad way or anything, it just frightened her at how deep this could feel in such an early stage. Well, the emotion might as well be used, except for, the thing was, she couldn't bring herself to say it, let alone speak it. The warmth instantly left her, why was this? Maybe it was the fact that Crucifix was no longer at her side, or the empty feeling within her, the feeling that she was no longer whole. What had she done? If felt like she had just sold her freedom to another. Hazel spheres landed on Crucifix, the one that she had chosen to stay with. Almost instantly the sorrow, the abhorrence at herself disappeared. Almost in an instant all negative thoughts had disappeared and a renewed nervousness came about.
He is the one. Came her thoughts. Yeah, she missed the freedom and rebellion of being a loner, but what would she miss more? The wildside or being by Crucifix's side. It was obvious. She would miss the second one more than anything. She would never forgive herself, giving up an instant friendship, even a relationship, just because she was too scared to feel something. She was too scared to be comfortable, to be loved. Loved like she had never been in her past. As she examined every emotion, there was one thing that was real and that would be happening. Crucifix would not be leaving these grounds alone tonight.
Pistons cared her blissful bod' toward him, every instinct applauding her choice, for she had chosen the right one. Strides brought her to his side, the side that she wanted to be beside for every reason possible. Movements ended, her choice made. If you think about it, it wasn't that hard of a choice. The true, prue emotion of affection pored into her mocha spheres. Side movements brought her closer to him, as her quarters and shoulder pressed against his figure. Warmth sproutted through her again, bliss and love shot through her. Everything was perfect, life, this moment and her new home even though she had not seen the land that she was to live in. There was no where else in the world that she would rather be, no where.

.And in my heart you’ll always be. .From now until forever.
Crucifix held his breath for a moment again as his poollids shut ore his gazers. The wait now to see if she would choose to come, ah the agony of it. It was now that he felt the breeze as never before he felt it. Like a sudden chill had entered it and caressed into his hide causing a slight shiver to arise. Taking in a breath again, he shuffled his auds and held still in the wait. But he needn't wait long.
The sound of another coming near arose in his auds and the warmth returned to his side, the warmth he felt before... as if it was there all along and never left him at all. Crown turned to face the coming and bloomed into sight the array of flawless gold. He pondered a moment what might be going through her mind... all of this so new to her. So long she had been alone... as had he... life would change for them both, but that was the grace of a new beginning.
But again, what if all of this was too soon? He had to admit that everything fell faster than he had ever imagined. Yet if there was such a thing as true love, which he was sure there was, there was no doubt that this sensation was it. Reaching his boa toward her, he nipped a moment at her tresses playfully before pulling away a moment.
Caballo... all these years the two of us have been alone... wandering as ourselves and ourselves alone. he whispered as he pulled his gaze to the western sun. I know life will be different now with each other to live by... I just want you to know, for I don't know how you feel, I am nervous. I've never felt like this before, but yet there's a strength having you with me. They say that when there is love, two alone and one together. Know, lady Caballo, I would never mean to steal your freedom from you... but as long as you live with me, if trouble should come you needn't look far. For if you look in your heart, I'm always there.
The song flew like a forgotten melody from his liprims and once completed, he felt a flame spark in his soul and ignite him within; as if it had been waiting for him to confess so all his life. Now was a new beginning and as he turned his gaze to Caballo, he couldn't think of a better way to begin.
Now, before the sun sets, I shall take you home. he whispered again as he nuzzled her nape and moved his pistons forward, moving slowly so as Caballo could follow as he moved toward the Cliff beyond.
.No matter what, no matter where. .We’ll always be together.

.I Know Better. .Cause You Said Forever and Ever.
Everything seemed to leave her speechless. Every greeting, every lyric disappeared. There was no need to prepare something to say, because when there is a true master of words, they just flow out, hardly seeming like an effort. Right now, that talent seemed far from her. Lyrics were nearly incapable, from amazement and bliss. How amazed she was that Crucifix was so calm and composed, he could speak so easily without having a nagging urge to stop and wonder what thoughts Caballo held. Although, the only way he could find out would be from asking, for it was impossible to read minds. Well, actually the truth is, that it seemed that there were hardly any thoughts occupying her dial. She was way to preoccupied with what Crucifix thought of her, even though that was quite obvious. Then again, she wasn't that secretative either.
How a way with lyrics had calmed her in an instant. Crucifix never meant to steal her freedom, only to give her a chance at living with the company of another. The more she spent these moments with him, the more she loved that idea. She had a chance at being lonely, being an outcast, and absolutely despised it. Yet, she was still willing to give it a second chance, well, more like a 10th chance. It was pointless, giving up her whole life to being alone, far from contact with any other equine. Suddenly, she wished it to be that way, but with a slight change, having Crucifix with her. He at least understood her, and still welcomed her into his life, when he had so many other choices. Crucifix had a world of fae's to pick, and he picked her. Her, not anyone else.
Daggers drew her forth as she followed her lord and even at the slight possiblity, her love. Moving after him with confidence, she was almost certain that joy lay ahead of this moment. That slight possiblity of affection opened up for her, and she hoped the same for her lord. Yet, she couldn't plant fake emotions in someone elses heart, just like she couldn't put words in someone elses maw. All she could do was silently hope and when the moment of truth came, she could either scream out with bliss, or curl up with sorrow. Yet, whatever was to lie in the future, she wished to leave it untouched, and savour each moment, rather than take a peek and spoil the surprise, or the agony, whichever came first.
.Who Knew.
