A long time ago, two colts were born to the Alpha of Montain Miracle. The elder, Ishtar, was born first and a year after, Sun Chaser was born. Their dam died with the birth of Sun Chaser, and their father was much too busy to care about them.
Years passed, and their personalities became defined. Ishtar was more reserved, and enjoyed pain; while Sun Chaser was outspoken and kind. There was no doubt that though he was younger, Sun Chaser would make a better king.
As Ishtar hit 4 years of age, he realized his father would not appoint him to become King, but rather Sun Chaser - who was only 3 years old. Angered, he ran off, leaving behind nothing but an inscription upon a tree trunk;
My Time Will Come..
Plot
Ishtar left the herd, and years passed without any news from him. However, one day a messenger arrived with troubling news - movements at the base of the mountain. Ishtar was back - this time with an army of his own.
The two herds fought a bloody battle, and though the Miracle herd won in the end, they had lost many equines and the base of their mountain. Forced to retreat higher, it is said that they will not last much longer - who will win?
